The summer before I started uni, I really thought a lot about my happiness. I spent my summer days relaxing under the sun at Aberdeen Marina Yacht club. I started writing down all my thoughts, ideas, desires, and fears… not out of boredom but out of anticipation. #16 on my bucket list was to fly to Ireland and sit at the edge of Ireland’s greatest landmark, the Cliffs of Moher.
I remember this day like it was yesterday. I woke up unbelievably early in Dublin and I wanted to punch the wall. My friends and I took our sweet time eating breakfast and then realized that our tour left without us. (hahahahaha, we’re the worst.) But because the universe is compassionate, we flagged down our tour before they drove off in the big coach bus. Four hours later, we arrived to Cliffs of Moher rest stop.
I was told that they filmed a bunch of movies here including Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince. haha.
This sign really scared me. Our bus driver told us about the tragic reality of deaths here and joked about not trying to cliff dive here. There’s about a 700 foot drop. 🙁 Yes. This is my butt. I had to walk around Galway like this the whole entire day. Maximum embarrassing level reached.
Wow. Definitely the highlight of my whole Ireland trip. Blessed with good luck and good weather.Until next time.
