A bowl of Italian pasta, and two gelato’s later… it was hiking time. We started off at Vernazza and from there, it was a two hour hike to Monterosso al Mare.
I. was. wearing. sandals.
Big. Huge. Colossal. MISTAKE.
It was definitely a struggle for me. It’s okay though, I’m not a baby. I didn’t complain.
Vernazza up close and personal. This was the view of Vernazza one hour into the intense hike.
Made it. Touch down in Monterosso al mare.
I could use another day trip here. (But with sneakers next time!)
