We grabbed some lunch at Restaurant Casa Aladin located in Rue Targi, Chefchaouen. It serves African-Moroccan, Mediterranean and Middle eastern foods. (Also, they are vegetarian friendly!!) The views were remarkable and I spent quite a while on the roof. It was a dream.
I was a very happy camper.
Ashilah & TangierWe went straight to Asilah the next day. This place was completely different from Chefchaouen but they both shared very similar features. Asilah was full of art and murals, it was a cultural hub. I loved it.
World-tour in 2018. Watch out.
We then went to Tangier where we encountered some adorable camels. These furry creatures were absolutely adorable even though they did spit on me.. and also, I accidentally threw my selfie stick onto a gigantic pile of camel poop. And… I might have finished up my whole bottle of hand sanitizer afterwards. Camel riding on the beach. What a view ,huh. Everybody wants to know the story behind this picture haha. The explanation is simple, I had an immaculate conception. haha but for real… My friends and I were having a photoshoot at the edge when a Morrocon lady walks up to me. She asks me if her baby could be in the pictures with me. Such an odd request but at the same time, so flattering haha. I still can’t believe that she trusted a STRANGER with her baby at the corner of a ledge, a hundred feet above the water. I must have a very trustworthy aura 🙂 🙂 Afterwards, we continued our short photoshoot. Pretty Salad assortment for Lunch with some bread on the side.
The streets are so simple, distinguishable by its blue-white walls and ceramic+street art everywhere. Morocco was a dream.
