One of the most magical places about Seville… Plaza de Espana.
This gorgeous plaza gives you the impression of stepping into a fairy tale land.
During the five weeks I lived in Spain, I visited this place almost 20 times. It was a very short walk away from where I stayed. Most of the time, I would wander here by myself. I would often head here all on my lonesome…. in fact, I preferred being alone. There’s something enchanting about walking through a foreign city in solitude. You’re more inclined to reflect and notice things around you that you normally wouldn’t with a friend by your side. You collect independence points 🙂 🙂
I would sit here and just think. I would dream with my eyes open. Plaza De Espana was my analeptic.I took so many polaroids here. They shot Starwars II here. Yes, this EXACT spot. The Palace in Planet Naboo is immortal. There were horse carriages everywhere. This was the first time I stumbled upon the Plaza. I was with a schoolmate and we were just in awe… taking pictures of everything. I saw the horse and ran up to it. The carriage driver came up to me and asked me if I wanted to sit on the horse. I just looked at him, not wanting to say yes or no haha. But without even waiting for my answer, he lifted me up and placed me on the horse. To be honest, this whole situation was a little hilarious. (and a pretty good photo opportunity lol)If you’re ever in Spain, head to Seville and check out Plaza De Espana 😉
